Dr Yong Chen has more than 30 years of experience in Chinese medicine. He graduated from Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine in 1992 with a major in Acupuncture and studied under Professor Jin Rui, a renowned acupuncture specialist and pioneer in scalp acupuncture.
He has worked in hospitals and healthcare organisations across Guangzhou and Dongguan, as well as in pharmaceutical and medical technology sectors.
He has a particular interest in pain management and sports injuries, including neck and shoulder pain, lower back pain, sciatica, headaches, tennis elbow, rotator cuff injuries, strains, and hip, knee and ankle injuries.
His clinical approach includes acupuncture, dry needling, therapeutic massage and moxibustion, with personalised treatment based on each patient's symptoms and overall health. He also provides Chinese medicine care for a range of common internal and women's health conditions.
